What’s the opportunity?

Working in-office, you will be responsible for the sales performance of a sales team and working closely within an assigned territory / sector. The Event Director will bring new business to our continually expanding exhibition, The Battery Innovation Expo, with the progression opportunities there for you to direct and manage a larger portfolio of events.

This is the perfect role for an experienced, tenacious telemarketing/sales manager/business development professional who’s looking to jump into a client-focused role and is interested in working for and progressing with a fast growing business.

Training will be provided

Main Responsibilities:

• Proactively utilizing multiple methods to identify a strong pipeline of new business for yourself and your team
• Bringing in revenue through selling exhibition booth space & sponsorship opportunities
• Generating interest through engaging social media content
• Generating business via cold calling, networking and social selling
• Working with clients to package their exact exhibition requirements
• Becoming well versed in battery and energy related industries
• Coach and train Account Executives to deliver sales targets
• Contribute to and seek to develop a positive, productive working environment at all times

Required Skills & Experience:

• Clear and concise communicator
• Driven and motivated
• Strategic and proactive thinker
• Experience in an office environment
• BA/BS Degree Preferred
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills
• Be a strong natural leader
• Be able to communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external clients and partners
